Mexico City is one of the most populated city in the world, with a poverty rate of approximately 46%. Thousands of kids in Mexico City aren't able to attend school because they're working to provide for their families and put food on the table. These kids don't have nearly as many privileges as we do, and basic necessities such as having clean clothing aren't met. In November of 2017, Rose Project created a t-shirt called ROSA ( Rose in Spanish), and our goal was to sell out completely, using the profits to create a new batch of t-shirts, and donating them to kids in need. The ROSA shirts completely sold out in ten days, and we were amazed by the number of people hearing their story and wanting to be a part of a project that would not only help the less fortunate, but would also add meaning and purpose to their own lives.
